She’s not only my Soulmate but also Accompanies my Singing on the Piano.
Now About Me….. at Warp Speed!

I grew up on the streets of New York at times living in the New York City Subway System. Came out of an Orphanage, 
“The Pride of Judea children’s Home” 1000 Dumont Ave., East NY Brooklyn. Never got to finish high School. Worked in the Pressroom of the New York Times 16 to 26yrs old

At 27 I opened up the Verona Billiard Parlor on Bloomfield Ave., Verona, NJ
My pool room was mentioned on the Sopranos… enough said 

At that time had 3 other businesses and lots of employees and poverty never again.

About 35 I Moved to beautiful San Diego, found out I had a talent for Invention and Spacial Design. 1987 invented a way to make positives for screen printing using a computer (at that time most didn’t know what a computer was). With this invention I became the CEO and founder of Vital Laser Type, 70 US based employees, occupied the whole 10 floor of the Security Pacific Bank Building close to downtown San Diego .with satellite offices in Europe!

I remember sitting in my executive chair looking out my Office Window (Spitacular San Diego View) and thinking, how the..***. did this all happen to me? Seems like yesterday I was sleeping in the NY Subway looking to score my next meal.

I Have been awarded 4 United States Patents.

Started many business, employed 100s of people.

But then one day, a very significant life changing event happened. 

I walked into the Red Fox Inn to celebrate my 60th birthday
The open mic piano player asked “would I like to sing a song?”
I had never sang a song in my life!
But because someone dared me and I’m from New York, I don’t like being called “chicken”, the best I could muster up was …
“I’ll be back next week, with a song because I don’t know any songs NOW”. 

I came back the next week with “Summer Wind” memorized after listening to Frank Sinatra a couple of thousand times. 
You only get one song, thank God because one is all I had Memorized! 

When I finished there was silence, not a clap, I thought (was I that BAD?) Then the people all stood up like they were coming out of a trance and applauded Loudly! A standing O for me, On MY first song, I was Hooked on Singing, like it was an intoxicating opiate,  
Even more amazing a woman came over and says she is from Loews Coronado Hotel and she is out scouting for talent, loves my Singing Style
hands me her card and wants to Hire me! I haven’t Stoped Singing since

Now Im 77 Wife 68 and have over 150 songs memorized that I can perform on the spot! Given countless performances, Have 4 CDs out and will be making new singing and wife’s piano playing VIDEOS on a regular basis, which will be posted both on this page “Piano and Vine” and also on our website where you can register as a fan and receive information about where we will be performing and when our videos are released and lots of free music sent to you!

I just love SINGING To You! And my wife’s spectacular Piano is there also for Your Enjoyment and Amazement.
